Description
Château Le Boscq is a fine wine from Saint-Estèphe, ideally situated next to the Gironde estuary, Le Boscq elegantly combines the power of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, with the delicacy of Merlot. The wines are charming, velvet-textured and spicy, enhanced by lovely rich tannins, and well-balanced and refined on the finish.
Tasting Notes
Incredibly deep in appearance, purple and bright. The distinguished, intense and complex nose reveals the exceptional character of Le Boscq, directly adjacent to the Gironde estuary. Defined by its distinctive character of precious woods, the 2020 vintage firmly situates Le Boscq in a spicy aromatic dimension, underscored by complex, dark fruit notes (blackberries, black cherries). The wine is smooth on the palate, full and poised, and culminates in a long, lingering finish. A great Le Boscq wine! Frédéric Bonnaffous, Dourthe Estates Director
